BDT goes to camp Dart-lo

Theatre is not just about work, but also about play.

The Blue Door Theatre is not just about working hard to bring amazing improv to Spokane. Sometimes we sneak away to have some laid-back fun with our team. Our players, volunteers, and families came together on July 29th at Camp Dart Lo to enjoy each other's company.

On this beautiful day, we played Kubb, a game where you aim to topple the wooden blocks of your opponents. Others enjoyed throwing the frisbee or going down to the river. The ultimate event was the water gun fight. Our artistic director brought all the water guns to make sure everyone who wanted to participate could. It was a great way to cool down from the summer heat and just let loose.

Of course, what would a summer party be without food! There was plenty of food including chicken, hamburgers, bean burgers, hot dogs, and bratwurst. There were salads and lots of good sweets for dessert. As you would expect to hear around food, we also had great conversations.
